  • Design and implementation of scalable data warehouse and BI solutions on Azure.
  • Drive the development of Power BI dashboards and analytics solutions aligned with business KPIs and executive reporting needs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define reporting requirements and translate them into efficient BI solutions.
  • Oversee and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
  • Drive the use of scripting and automation to streamline data workflows and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with teams to integrate Big Data technologies into BI/DWH solutions.
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance across all reporting layers.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and data warehouse architecture.
  • Act as a trusted advisor for BI strategy, suggesting best practices and emerging tools in the Azure ecosystem.

Essential Skills
Technical
  • Data Warehousing (DWH) - design, architecture, and implementation
  • Azure Synapse Analytics / Azure Data Warehouse
  • Power BI - data modeling, DAX, dashboard/report design, optimization
  • SQL - advanced querying, optimization, stored procedures, performance tuning
  • Database Knowledge - relational models, indexing, schema design
  • ETL/ELT Tools & Pipelines - data integration and orchestration
  • Data Modeling - star schema, snowflake schema, SCDs, fact/dimension design
  • Data Governance & Security - role-based access, compliance best practices
  • Cloud Ecosystem (Azure) - storage, compute, and analytics services
  • Scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or PowerShell for automation and data handling.
  • Exposure to Big Data technologies (e.g., Spark, Databricks, Hadoop ecosystem).
Personal
  • Stakeholder Management - engage with business users to gather and translate requirements into BI solutions
  • Communication Skills - ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders clearly

  • Knowledge of Oracle modules/tables: Financials, HR, Projects
  • Knowledge of OTBI Subject Areas/BI Publisher
