Title: ServiceNow ITOM Developer
Contract
Location: Remote

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for ServiceNow ITOM and CMDB solutions.
Design, develop, and configure ServiceNow ITOM and CMDB modules, including Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and Configuration Management.
Customize ServiceNow workflows, business rules, UI policies, and notifications to support ITOM and CMDB processes and automation.
Configure and maintain the CMDB data model, ensuring accurate and up-to-date configuration item (CI) information.
Integrate ServiceNow with other ITOM tools and external platforms using APIs and web services.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement ITOM and CMDB best practices, ensuring alignment with industry standards and ITIL processes.
Conduct thorough testing of ServiceNow configurations and customizations to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Provide ongoing support and maintenance for ServiceNow applications, troubleshooting issues and implementing necessary fixes or enhancements.
Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow releases and ITOM/CMDB-specific features, proactively identifying opportunities for process improvement and system optimization.
Collaborate with other developers, administrators, and business analysts to deliver integrated solutions that meet the ITOM and CMDB needs of the organization.
Document technical specifications, user guides, and standard operating procedures for ServiceNow applications and configurations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5-7 years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer, with a focus on ITOM and CMDB.
Strong expertise in ServiceNow ITOM and CMDB modules, including Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and Configuration Management.
Proficient in ServiceNow development and configuration, including workflows, business rules, UI policies, and scripting using JavaScript.
Experience with ServiceNow integration using APIs and web services.
Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices related to ITOM and CMDB.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and technical teams.
ServiceNow certifications such as Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in ITOM or CMDB are highly desirable.
