As a Senior Software Engineer (SSE) on the Platform Engineering team, you will be instrumental in the design and development of core platform components that drive our enterprise automation ecosystem. Collaborating closely with architects and lead engineers, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and efficient platform solutions. Located in our Chennai tech hub, you will work alongside global teams to create self-service infrastructure, enhance developer velocity, and support extensive enterprise workloads at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Platform Design & Development: Design and develop platform features with a stringent focus on scalability, reliability, and reusability.

• Core Capabilities Implementation: Contribute to the implementation of essential platform capabilities, including:

  • Self-service infrastructure

  • Deployment automation

  • Service configuration systems

• Architectural Collaboration: Partner with Lead Engineers and Architects to translate high-level designs into functional solutions, providing valuable feedback on feasibility and trade-offs.

• Code Quality & Best Practices: Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code in accordance with engineering best practices. Engage in code reviews and integrate feedback to continually elevate team standards.

• Production Support & Reliability: Diagnose production issues, contribute to root cause analysis (RCA), and assist in identifying and mitigating technical debt.

• Observability & Productivity: Enhance observability, monitoring, and alerting systems while contributing to automation initiatives that boost overall team productivity and developer experience.

Education

• Degree: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related technical field.
