SQL Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Candidates should have 7 years of experience in SQL
• should have strong SQL knowledge.
• Experience in Teradata highly regarded.
• Develop SQL code base for a wide variety of products
• Ability to optimise large complicated SQL statements
• Familiar with Teradata concepts such as AMP architecture, collect stats, MLOAD/Fast Load, performance tuning techniques, partitions, etc
• Unix - Need to know bash/awk scripting, Job automation, advanced Unix commands for analysis.
• Should have great troubleshooting skills for log file analysis
• Good documentation skills.
• Experienced in any of the Configuration and Scheduling tools.
• Experience with some of the modern relational databases
• Skilled at optimizing large complicated SQL statements
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as {{Git / Mercurial / SVN}}
• Handle common database procedures such as upgrade, backup, recovery, migration, etc.
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
• Immediate or Max 30 days notice period preferred
