Texas Instruments is seeking a Digital Design Manager. In this role, you will direct and guide the activities of a research or technical design function responsible for designing, developing, modifying and evaluating digital electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment and other hardware systems. You may also evaluate final results of research and development projects to assure accomplishment of technical objectives. In addition, job functions include preparing and presenting reports outlining the outcome of technical projects and making recommendations for actions necessary to achieve desired results. As a Digital Design Manager, you may also select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Position Overview
Lead analog validation engineering team and drive validation strategies for TI's cutting-edge wireless connectivity products
Combine deep technical expertise with people management responsibilities
Oversee validation of complex RF and analog systems on advanced technology nodes

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering (Master's preferred)
5+ years of relevant experience in analog/RF validation engineering
2+ years of people management or team leadership experience
Proven track record of leading complex validation projects from concept to completion

About the Role:

Define and implement comprehensive validation strategies encompassing Hardware, Software, and Instrumentation across the analog validation portfolio
Oversee development of RF validation boards, schematics, and layouts, ensuring alignment with customer use-cases and applications
Drive system-level and parametric testing methodologies with a rigorous "break-the-part" approach
Partner strategically with Analog Design, RF Design, Modem Design, PTE, SoC, and Digital teams
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of validation engineers, fostering technical growth and career advancement
Establish team goals, performance metrics, and development plans aligned with business objectives
Drive hiring decisions and talent acquisition strategies for the validation team
Create an inclusive, collaborative environment that promotes innovation and excellence
Manage multiple validation projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time delivery and quality standards
Establish and optimize validation processes, tools, and methodologies
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and best practice adoption
Coordinate with program management and business teams on project planning and resource allocation

Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Extensive experience in validation engineering of analog/RF products, particularly wireless connectivity solutions
Demonstrated expertise in hardware debugging and failure analysis
Proficiency in schematic and PCB layout design using Altium/Allegro or similar tools
Strong background in RF measurements, test automation, and validation instrumentation
Experience with low-power MCU validation and debugging
Proven ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with ability to present to executive leadership
Demonstrated capability to quickly adapt to new systems, processes, and technologies
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Experience working in cross-functional, global teams with diverse stakeholders
Track record of driving initiatives and delivering results in fast-paced environments
Excellent time management and organizational skills enabling successful multi-project delivery
Experience with semiconductor validation tools and industry-standard test equipment

Additional Desired Skills:
Knowledge of wireless communication standards (BLE, Wi-Fi, etc.)
Familiarity with statistical analysis and data-driven validation approaches
Experience with validation software frameworks and automation tools
Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing and test processes
Project management certification (PMP, Agile, etc.) preferred
