Product Designer 2
Key Responsibilities:
Understand the frequency of usage of the feature or experience and how it fits in the product and maps to the business + Flow of the user for a given problem + Stakeholders involved + Understand long term implications of the recommendation
Consideration for content + interactions and all states + Consideration for localisation + Accessibility + Preservation of the design system + Preservation of the brand + Ensuring high fidelity of the final output in production
Helps improve design standards in the company + Defend good design and perpertrate user-first problem-solving
Contributions to culture and the team + Contributing to improving the team and hiring + Improving productivity of the team team through tools and processes
Maintain design consistency and standards across all aspects of the product, ensuring a cohesive and intuitive user interface.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in design and user experience.
Represent the user and drive design decisions with user insights
Assist the user research team to gain insights into the needs, preferences, and behaviours of our target audience as required.
Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience in product design, preferably in a fast-paced startup environment.
Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite
Strong portfolio showcasing your design process, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively articulate design decisions and rationale.
Empathetic mindset with a genuine passion for understanding user needs and advocating for their best interests.
Proven track record of taking ownership of projects and delivering high-quality results within tight deadlines.
Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field is preferred.
