We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with a strong background in ABAP, OOPS ABAP, CDS Views, AMDP, and expertise in Retail functional areas. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 6 years of hands-on experience in SAP development and will work closely with functional and technical teams to design, develop, and enhance SAP applications, with a focus on the retail industry. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain custom ABAP programs and reports to meet business requirements.
• Utilize OOPS ABAP principles to create scalable, modular, and maintainable code.
• Develop and manage Core Data Services (CDS Views) for real-time data access and analytics.
• Implement ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP) for performance optimization and enhanced database interaction.
• Collaborate with the functional team to analyze business processes and translate requirements into technical solutions within the SAP Retail environment.
• Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality, bug-free code.
• Provide technical support for SAP Retail modules and assist in resolving system issues.
• Optimize existing ABAP programs to enhance performance, maintainability, and scalability.
• Participate in SAP upgrades and ensure that custom developments remain compatible.
• Document technical specifications and follow best practices in SAP development.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 5-6 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, with a focus on custom development and enhancement.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience in OOPS ABAP (Object-Oriented ABAP).
• Proficiency in creating Core Data Services (CDS Views) for real-time data access and reporting.
• Expertise in ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP) for high-performance SAP HANA database operations.
• Good understanding of SAP Retail functional areas, including integration with MM, SD, and other modules.
• Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to analyze complex business processes and translate them into technical solutions.
• Experience working in Agile or waterfall project environments.
• Solid understanding of SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
