Job Title: Technical Specialist - PL/SQL and ETL
Role Overview:
We are looking for a Technical Specialist with expertise in PL/SQL, ETL processes, and data management to join our dynamic data team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transformation activities using ETL tools such as Talend, Informatica, or DataStage, and possess a comprehensive understanding of data quality, SQL Server, and data warehousing (DW) and business intelligence (BI) concepts. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can ensure the integrity and quality of data while driving efficient data processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain PL/SQL scripts and procedures to facilitate data transformations and integrations.
- Utilize ETL tools (Talend, Informatica, or DataStage) to conduct transformation activities and ensure data quality.
- Monitor and enhance data quality through validation, cleansing, and enrichment processes.
- Manage and optimize SQL Server databases to support robust and efficient data management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data warehousing (DW) and business intelligence (BI) solutions.
- Stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in data management, ETL, DW, and BI.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues to maintain workflow efficiency.
- Proven experience with PL/SQL programming and database management.
- Expertise in ETL tools such as Talend, Informatica, or DataStage.
- Strong knowledge of data quality principles and practices.
- Proficiency in SQL Server and experience in database administration.
- Understanding of data warehousing (DW) and business intelligence (BI) concepts.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
