About the Role
We are looking for a Senior AI Agent Developer to design, build, and deploy intelligent LLM-powered agents that automate complex workflows and surface data-driven insights. You will work at the intersection of large language models, cloud-native data infrastructure, and serverless architectures on AWS.
Key Responsibilities
AI Agent Development
- Design and implement autonomous LLM-based agents using frameworks such as LangChain, and AWS Bedrock Agents
- Build multi-step agentic workflows with tool use, memory, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) patterns
- Integrate agents with enterprise data sources, APIs, and knowledge bases
- Evaluate, fine-tune, and optimize foundation models on Amazon SageMaker for domain-specific tasks
Data Understanding & Engineering
- Develop and maintain data pipelines (batch & streaming) using AWS Glue, Athena, and S3 data lake architectures
- Design structured and unstructured data flows that feed agent context windows and vector stores (e.g., Bedrock Knowledge Bases)
- Work with Amazon Redshift and Lake Formation for governed, analytics-ready data access
- Perform data profiling, quality checks, and schema design to ensure agent reliability
Cloud Architecture & Orchestration
- Build serverless agent pipelines using AWS Lambda and Step Functions
- Architect event-driven systems that trigger, chain, and monitor agent executions
- Design for scalability, cost efficiency, observability (CloudWatch, X-Ray), and security (IAM, VPC)
Collaboration & Delivery
- Partner with ML engineers, data scientists, and product managers to translate requirements into agent systems
- Document architecture decisions, runbooks, and agent behavioral specs
- Drive code reviews, promote best practices, and mentor junior engineers
Required Qualifications
- 5–8 years of software/ML engineering experience, with 2+ years in AI agent or LLM application development
- Hands-on experience with AWS Bedrock (Claude, Titan, etc.) and/or Amazon SageMaker (training, endpoints, pipelines)
- Proficiency with LLM agent frameworks: LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, or Bedrock Agents
- Strong understanding of RAG architectures, vector databases, and prompt engineering
