AWS Architect

We are looking for an ambitious, proactive, AWS Architect with the ability to provide a solution design for customer requirements.

As a part of the engineering team of a Full Service tech forward Digital Agency,

Your responsibilities will include designing and developing system architectures required for the successful execution and delivery of business solutions.

The client is an award-winning, tech-forward digital performance and software development agency, with services in Web Development , Mobile Application Development and Digital marketing with clients across India, Middle East and North America.

What you will be doing as an AWS Architect on the team

• Able to provide a Solution Design for the customer requirements

• Design and develop system architectures required for the successful execution and delivery of business solutions.

• Handle requirement gathering

• Communicate architecture plans, including future roadmaps to all stakeholders.

• Build awareness around the AWS eco system and services available on cloud and propose their usage in projects based on cost, security and other factors

• Advise and support development teams on the use of patterns, capabilities, and complex technical issues.

• Ensure that solution architectures adhere to best practices.

• Research and understand industry trends and their applicability to support architectural plans and strategies for the enterprise.

• Provide innovative approaches to new solutions that contribute to the achievement of the organization’s targets and delivery of business outcomes.

• Effectively communicate complex concepts to various audiences within the organization.

• Contribute to post implementation reviews helping to demonstrate success or areas of improvement.

• Maintain good attendance, safe work practices and safeguards of confidential company information.

Qualifications they are looking for

The required skills for this role will be:

• Must have AWS Certified Solutions Architect Certification

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a AWS Solutions Architect

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in Software Development

• Strong knowledge in AWS Cloud Technologies

• Solid understanding in Storage and security

• Solid understanding on DevOps

• Working experience in containers and container orchestration (K8s)

• Good knowledge with network traffic routing and monitoring

• Knowledge on Linux

Other Skills and Experience

• Experience developing and maintaining applications on the cloud platform

• Experience designing, building, and provisioning a cloud infrastructure on AWS

• Programming experience using NodeJS (would be an asset)

• Relational database experience with data modeling, reporting, query optimization, indexing a SQL Datastore

• Knowledge of solution delivery and software development practices, application release and deployment, and automated testing, including source code control, build / package, environment configuration and monitoring.

• Ability to work well at a conceptual level, resolve ambiguity, and to drive concepts into workable and practical solutions to achieve desired outcome.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to express complex technology concepts effectively and in a manner suitable for various audiences.

• Strong organizational, prioritization and time management skills.

• Highly collaborative and inclusive.
