Essential Job Functions:
- Work on identifying space issues, objects that are taking up most space.
- Conduct database capacity planning to anticipate future storage and performance needs.
- Work on helping team with optimizing DB performance and dashboard performance.
- Develop and implement data security policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Generate regular reports on database performance and usage.
- Help with move to cloud DB and drive POC on this.
- Document and update Confluence.
- Exp: 5 to 9 years
- Bachelor’s degree in CS or related STEM field
- Minimum of 5 years of proven work experience as a DBA
- Strong knowledge of Oracle, writing complex SQL queries and optimizing database performance
- Having an automation experience is a plus
- Yugabyte experience / Postgresql experience is a BIG Plus
