- We are seeking an experienced Akamai Engineer to join our team on a 12-month maternity cover contract, starting as soon as possible, with the opportunity to transition into a permanent role.
Own, maintain, and optimize the Akamai platform across:
- Performance services
- Security services
- Delivery services
Handle responsibilities including:
- Onboarding activities
- Configuration changes
- Security control implementation
- WAF tuning
- Bot protection optimization
- Supporting application teams
- Ensuring stability and resilience of Akamai-delivered services
- Apply a strong analytical mindset and structured approach toward:
- Solution design
- Troubleshooting
- Platform optimization
- Produce and maintain high-quality documentation including:
- HLD (High-Level Design)
- LLD (Low-Level Design)
- Operational standards
- Communicate complex concepts effectively to:
- Technical stakeholders
- Non-technical stakeholders
- Work proactively and independently while managing multiple engagements simultaneously
- Demonstrate strong collaboration skills and build positive cross-team relationships
