Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Sterling OMS Developer with strong expertise in IBM Sterling Order Management System (OMS), Java, and Microservices. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and integrating Sterling OMS with enterprise applications using modern Java technologies and Microservices architecture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and customize IBM Sterling OMS solutions.
  • Develop and maintain Java/J2EE applications and Spring Boot Microservices.
  • Build and enhance Sterling components such as User Exits, APIs, Services, Agents, Pipelines, and Transactions.
  • Develop RESTful APIs and integrate Sterling OMS with ERP, WMS, CRM, payment gateways, and third-party systems.
  • Implement order lifecycle processes including Order Capture, Inventory, Sourcing, Fulfillment, Shipping, and Returns.
  • Develop scalable Microservices using Spring Boot, REST APIs, Kafka/JMS, and event-driven architecture.
  • Write efficient SQL queries and work with Oracle/DB2 databases.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide root cause analysis.
  • Participate in code reviews, unit testing, deployment, and production support.
  • Work in Agile/Scrum teams and collaborate with architects and business stakeholders.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in IBM Sterling OMS.
  • Strong programming experience in Java 8/11+, J2EE.
  • Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Microservices.
  • Experience with Sterling OMS APIs, User Exits, Services, Agents, Pipelines, and Transactions.
  • Strong knowledge of REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, JSON, XML, XSLT.
  • Experience with Kafka, JMS, IBM MQ, or other messaging frameworks.
  • Good understanding of Order Management, Inventory Management, Sourcing, Fulfillment, and Returns.
  • Experience with Oracle/DB2/SQL.
  • Hands-on experience with Git, Maven, Jenkins, CI/CD.
  • Experience working in Linux/Unix environments.
