Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
Python backend with Artificial Intelligence and LLM
1. Backend Architecture & Microservices Development
• Design and develop scalable microservices using Python.
• Build APIs and backend services
• Ensure clean service boundaries and modular architecture.
2. API Design & Integration
• Design and implement robust RESTful APIs.
• Define:
o Clear contracts (OpenAPI / JSON Schema)
o Versioning and backward compatibility
• Integrate with:
o Frontend (NextJS)
o AI services (Azure OpenAI, Foundry)
3. Microservices Communication & Orchestration
• Implement communication patterns:
o Synchronous (REST/gRPC)
o Asynchronous (queues such as RabbitMQ, events)
• Orchestrate workflows across services.
• Handle inter-service dependencies and failures gracefully.
4. AI & Agent Integration Layer
• Build backend services that:
o Interface with AI agents
o Expose tools/skills for agent consumption (MCP-ready design preferred)
• Enable:
o Prompt execution pipelines
o Context handling and enrichment
• Work closely with AI engineers to operationalize AI workflows.
5. Asynchronous Processing & Event-Driven Systems
• Implement background processing using:
o Azure Service Bus / Event Grid / Queues such as RabbitMQ
• Handle:
o Long-running workflows
o Retry and failure handling
• Design event-driven architectures where applicable.
6. Data Management & Persistence
• Work with:
o Cosmos DB (NoSQL)
o Azure Blob Storage & AWS S3
o Redis (caching)
• Ensure:
o Data consistency
o Efficient querying
o Proper indexing strategies
7. Performance, Scalability & Reliability
• Design systems for:
o High throughput
o Low latency
• Implement:
o Caching strategies
o Rate limiting
o Circuit breakers and retries
• Ensure fault tolerance and graceful degradation.
8. Security & Compliance
• Implement:
o Secure authentication/authorization (OAuth2, JWT)
o Data protection practices
• Work with Microsoft Entra ID for identity integration.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise and financial data standards.
9. CI/CD & DevOps Collaboration
• Work with DevOps engineers to:
o Containerize services (Docker)
o Deploy on Azure (AKS / Container Apps)
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins / GitHub Actions / Azure DevOps).
10. Testing & Code Quality
• Write:
o Unit tests (pytest)
o Integration tests
• Ensure high code quality, maintainability, and documentation.
11. Collaboration & Developer Productivity
• Work closely with:
o Enterprise Architect
o Solution Architect
o AI Engineers
o DevOps Engineers
• Use GitHub Copilot for:
