Purpose of the role

To ensure efficient and cost-effective manufacturing operations by driving production planning, operational excellence, quality compliance, asset utilization, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring timely delivery, optimal resource utilization, and achievement of business and customer requirements.

1 Production, planning & control

%CF; Oversee production planning, scheduling, capacity and manpower allocation to ensure smooth manufacturing operations and timely order fulfillment

%CF; Ensure accurate maintenance of BOMs and process flow sheets to support production

%CF; Coordinate with stores to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components

2 Production operations management

%CF; Oversee end-to-end production operations from planning to final dispatch while ensuring adherence to quality standards and production targets

3 Moulding operations management

%CF; Oversee in-house and outsourced moulding operations to ensure achievement of output, yield, quality, and efficiency targets

%CF; Review raw material planning and consumption for moulding processes to minimize wastage

%CF; Support vendor selection, development, and performance monitoring for outsourced moulding operations

4 Assembly packaging & dispatch

%CF; Oversee assembly and packing operations to ensure product quality and operational efficiency

%CF; Manage dispatch planning and execution to ensure timely deliveries

5 Maintenance & Asset utilization

%CF; Ensure adherence to preventive and breakdown maintenance schedules to minimize machine downtime and operational disruptions

%CF; Support capex planning and execution for capacity expansion, modernization, and productivity improvement initiatives

6 Efficiency, productivity & cost management

%CF; Coordinate with technical head to implement initiatives for improving output and optimizing capacity utilization

%CF; Drive continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives across manufacturing operations

7 Quality & process compliance

%CF; Ensure adherence to quality standards, process controls, and manufacturing procedures across operations

8 MIS

%CF; Prepare and circulate reports as per requirements
