Job Description:

Bloomingdale International School in Vijayawada is seeking an experienced and dedicated MYP/DP Math Teacher to join our dynamic faculty. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience and a strong background in teaching Mathematics within the International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP).

Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Math lessons that align with the IB MYP and DP frameworks.
\n
• Foster a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and student engagement.
\n
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and support to ensure academic success.
\n
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement interdisciplinary units and assessments.
\n
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student performance and development.
\n
• Participate in professional development opportunities to remain current with IB curriculum standards and best practices.
\n
• Contribute to the overall development and improvement of the school’s mathematics curriculum.
\n

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience teaching Math in the IB MYP and/or DP.
\n
• Strong understanding of the IB framework and its implementation in the classroom.
\n
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
\n
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and parents.
\n
