About The Job:

  • Experience: 4-6 years
  • The Technical Consultant - SCPO Demand & Fulfillment (Retail) is responsible for architecting, designing, and leading the technical delivery of Blue Yonder SCPO solutions with primary focus on Demand Planning and Fulfillment for retail customers.
  • The role involves implementation, migration, integration, enhancement, testing, and support of enterprise planning solutions across cloud and on-prem landscapes.
  • The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on technical expertise, deep understanding of retail supply chain processes, and proven experience leading technical teams across multiple end-to-end Blue Yonder/JDA implementations.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Design technical solutions for Blue Yonder SCPO Demand and Fulfillment implementations in retail environments.
  • Analyze and assess existing customer BY/JDA solutions for migration to Cognitive Planning and modern BY platforms.
  • Lead technical workstreams across implementation, migration, enhancement, managed services, and custom projects.
  • Conduct technical analysis sessions with customers and project teams to understand functional and technical requirements.
  • Design and develop:
    • Integration workflows
    • API/interface solutions
    • Data mapping and transformation logic
    • Data models and data loads
    • Platform workflows and UI components
    • Custom scripts and utilities
  • Estimate workload for technical implementation tasks and assess architectural complexity and integration dependencies.
  • Support environment setup, installation, configuration, troubleshooting, system testing, deployment, and go-live activities.
  • Review technical design, code quality, and solution performance.
  • Drive performance tuning, benchmarking, and sizing exercises.
  • Build reusable artifacts and automation assets to reduce implementation effort and post-go-live issues.
  • Provide internal and external training and support team enablement.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across customer teams, project managers, functional consultants, and architects.
  • Support agile delivery and work flexibly across overlapping time zones.

Qualifications:
Required Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in software delivery, enterprise applications, or technical consulting.
  • Hands-on implementation experience in Blue Yonder SCPO Platform, specifically:
    • Demand Planning
    • Fulfillment
  • Strong experience in retail supply chain planning processes.
  • Proven experience leading technical teams through 3–6+ full implementation cycles.
  • Strong development experience in:
    • SQL / PL SQL
    • Python
    • Perl scripting
    • ETL
  • Strong database knowledge:
    • Oracle
    • MS SQL Server
    • Snowflake
    • RDBMS concepts
  • Knowledge of:
    • Windows
    • Unix
    • API fundamentals
    • Web technologies
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Azure or equivalent cloud platforms
    • Microservices architecture
    • Multi-tenant architecture
    • SaaS technical platforms
  • Demonstrable experience deploying and supporting enterprise solutions in cloud or on-prem environments.

Preferred Skills

  • Exposure to Blue Yonder Platform (PDC-Snowflake) and Cognitive Planning.
  • Knowledge of reporting tools such as Power BI, Cognos, or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with:
    • AI/ML
    • GenAI / Prompt Engineering
    • Data Analytics / Data Science
    • DevOps Operations
    • AWS / GCP / Azure
    • NoSQL / MongoDB
  • Domain expertise in retail demand planning, replenishment, and fulfillment execution.
