About The Job:
- We are seeking an experienced Azure IaaS Engineer to design, implement, manage, and support enterprise-scale Azure infrastructure environments.
- The candidate should possess strong expertise in Azure IaaS services, infrastructure administration, migration, monitoring, security, and automation while ensuring high availability, scalability, and operational excellence.
- Design, deploy, and manage Azure IaaS infrastructure solutions.
- Provision and administer Azure Virtual Machines (Windows and Linux).
- Configure and manage Azure networking components including VNets, NSGs, Route Tables, Load Balancers, and VPN Gateways.
- Implement and maintain Azure Storage Accounts, Azure Files, and managed disks.
- Manage Backup and Disaster Recovery solutions using Azure Backup and Azure Site Recovery.
- Monitor infrastructure health, performance, and availability using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
- Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis for infrastructure incidents.
- Implement security best practices, identity management, and access controls using Azure AD (Entra ID).
- Automate infrastructure tasks using PowerShell, ARM Templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
- Support cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of overall infrastructure administration experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure IaaS.
- Strong expertise in Azure Virtual Machines, Storage, Networking, and Security.
- Experience with Azure Backup and Disaster Recovery solutions.
- Knowledge of Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates or Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Experience managing Windows Server and Linux systems.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and alerting.
- Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
- Familiarity with PowerShell scripting and automation.
- Understanding of ITIL processes and cloud governance practices.
