About The Job:
- We are looking for an experienced Azure AKS Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in designing, deploying, managing, and optimizing Kubernetes environments on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate should possess deep knowledge of AKS, containerization, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), CI/CD automation, and cloud-native architecture.
- Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Implement and maintain scalable, highly available, and secure containerized applications.
- Manage AKS cluster upgrades, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform.
- Configure and manage Helm Charts, Ingress Controllers, and Service Mesh solutions.
- Implement container security, RBAC, network policies, and Azure security best practices.
- Monitor AKS environments using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Troubleshoot application, networking, storage, and cluster-related issues.
- Collaborate with development teams to implement cloud-native applications and microservices architectures.
- E2 – 5 to 8 years
- E3 – 9 to 12 years
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Strong expertise in Kubernetes concepts, including Pods, Deployments, StatefulSets, Services, Ingress, ConfigMaps, and Secrets.
- Experience with Docker and container orchestration.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Experience creating and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Strong understanding of Azure networking components including VNet, NSG, Load Balancer, and Application Gateway.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Good knowledge of Linux administration and scripting (Bash, PowerShell, Python).
- Experience implementing security and compliance standards in Kubernetes environments.

- GitOps tools such as ArgoCD or FluxCD
- Service Mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd)
- Azure OpenShift knowledge
