Process Engineer
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Process Engineer to optimize manufacturing and production processes for improved efficiency, quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness. The Process Engineer will analyse existing workflows, improve First Pass Yield (FPY), validate new parts and processes, implement process enhancements, and support continuous improvement initiatives across operations.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing processes and workflows.
· Monitor and improve First Pass Yield (FPY) through process optimization and defect reduction initiatives.
· Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks, waste, rework, and inefficiencies.
· Lead validation activities for new parts, materials, tooling, and production processes before mass production release.
· Coordinate pilot runs and process trials for new product introductions.
· Implement process optimization techniques to improve productivity, quality, and reduce costs.
· Prepare and maintain SOPs, work instructions, PFMEA, control plans, and process flow documentation.
· Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
· Work closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Purchase, and Design teams to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.
· Monitor process performance using KPIs, SPC, and statistical analysis tools.
· Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
· Assist in equipment selection, installation, qualification, and commissioning.
· Train operators and technicians on new processes and quality requirements.
