Design Engineer

Overview

Design Engineer - Capability to develop 3D Models of compressor components, assembly models and convert to 2D drawings.

Responsibilities

Preparing General arrangement drawing. Ability to read P&ID diagrams. Pipe routing design for lube oil, seal gas, compressor interstage piping design Detailing of structural & fabrication component drawings. Conduit, wiring & cable tray routing design

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.

Essential skills

Experience in Engineered to order projects, experience of working on equipment design like skid packaging & integration of large centrifugal compressors (Compressors + Oil systems + heat exchangers + Motors + Piping + Skid + Cables / conduits) etc. Target industry : Air Separation, Oil & Gas, EPCs & related experience is preferrable. Sound knowledge of Casting & Machining processes. Knowledge of API standards like 614, 617 etc. Sound knowledge of GD& T and latest drawing standards and best practices.

Experience

Min 3-5 Years of hands on experience of working on UG-NX, Team Centre & SAP.
