Senior Level- Year End

We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Year-End Accounts specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of UK clients, prepare and review statutory accounts, mentor junior team members, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality accounting services while maintaining compliance with UK accounting standards. Key Responsibilities Preparation and finalization of year-end financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies. Review and analysis of trial balances, general ledgers, and supporting schedules. Preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss accounts, and notes to accounts in line with UK GAAP (FRS 102 / FRS 105). Reconciliation and review of control accounts. Posting and review of year-end journals, including accruals, prepayments, and fixed assets. Liaison with internal teams and UK/Irish stakeholders to resolve queries and ensure timely completion. Supporting junior team members through review, guidance, and knowledge sharing. Use of accounting and compliance software such as Xero, CCH and Sage and related tools. Requirements ACCA / CA Inter or BCom Strong experience in UK accounts finalisation within an accountancy practice or outsourcing environment Sound knowledge of UK GAAP (FRS 102 and FRS 105). Good written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Xero, Sage and other accounting technologies.
