Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Data Scientist with experience in Supply Chain Analytics to develop advanced analytics and machine learning solutions that improve demand forecasting, inventory planning, procurement, and logistics operations. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Python, R, SQL, statistics, machine learning, and forecasting models to solve complex business problems using data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities.
• Develop, validate, and deploy machine learning and statistical models for demand forecasting and supply chain optimization.
• Build predictive models using regression, classification, clustering, and optimization techniques.
• Perform data ingestion, cleansing, preprocessing, and feature engineering for analytical models.
• Develop forecasting models to improve inventory planning and supply chain efficiency.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and recommend data-driven solutions.
• Evaluate model performance and continuously improve model accuracy and reliability.
• Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate insights to business teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including supply chain, procurement, logistics, and business consulting teams.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and supply chain analytics.

Required Skills

• 5-8 years of experience in Data Science or Advanced Analytics.
• Strong programming skills in Python and/or R.
• Strong SQL knowledge.
• Hands-on experience with Applied Statistics and Hypothesis Testing.
• Experience in Machine Learning techniques:
  • Regression
  • Classification
  • Clustering
  • Optimization
• Experience developing Forecasting Models.
• Strong knowledge of Data Ingestion, Data Cleaning, and Feature Engineering.
• Experience in Supply Chain Analytics.
• Knowledge of Demand Forecasting, Inventory Planning, Procurement, and Logistics.
• Experience with Data Visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with forecasting libraries and machine learning frameworks.
• Knowledge of optimization techniques for supply chain planning.
• Experience working in consulting or client-facing environments.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
