Key Responsibilities
- Manage and execute data migration from legacy and enterprise databases to Snowflake, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and consistency.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for data ingestion, transformation (ETL/ELT), and distribution within Snowflake.
- Implement Snowflake security features, including Dynamic Data Masking, Row-Level Security (Row Access Policies), and role-based access controls (RBAC).
- Collaborate with data analysts, architects, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and develop efficient data models.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize SQL queries, Snowflake virtual warehouses, and platform performance to improve processing efficiency.
- Support the development and integration of analytics and reporting solutions using Snowflake as the enterprise data platform.
- Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and best practices across all data engineering activities.
- Participate in performance tuning, cost optimization, and capacity planning within the Snowflake environment.
