Essential Job Functions:
Program Delivery & Execution
- Own end-to-end delivery of large, complex technology programs from initiation through production rollout.
- Drive planning, estimation, execution, and governance across multiple projects and workstreams.
- Ensure program delivery within agreed timelines, budget, scope, and quality objectives.
- Establish, monitor, and report KPIs, milestones, delivery metrics, and overall program health.
Stakeholder & Governance Management
- Engage with senior stakeholders, including executive leadership, EXCO members, and business heads to align priorities and objectives.
- Lead governance forums, steering committee meetings, executive reviews, and status discussions.
- Provide structured reporting on progress, risks, issues, dependencies, and delivery outcomes.
Technology Leadership & Strategy
- Contribute to technology roadmaps and strategic initiatives aligned with enterprise business objectives.
- Ensure adherence to enterprise architecture, security standards, compliance requirements, and governance policies.
- Drive adoption of modern engineering practices including API-led architecture, Cloud technologies, DevSecOps, and automation.
Risk & Issue Management
- Proactively identify, assess, and manage project risks, dependencies, constraints, and bottlenecks.
- Develop mitigation strategies and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Escalate critical risks with clear impact assessments and recommended resolution plans.
Delivery Excellence & Process Improvement
- Drive adoption of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery methodologies based on business needs.
- Continuously enhance delivery frameworks, governance models, tools, and processes.
- Ensure effective SDLC governance, quality assurance, testing practices, release management, and operational readiness.
Financial & Resource Management
- Manage program budgets, forecasts, financial planning, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Align resource planning and allocation across internal teams, vendors, and external partners.
- Track and report financial performance, budget utilization, and variance analysis.
Team Leadership & Capability Building
- Lead, mentor, and develop Program Managers, Project Managers, Delivery Leads, and Engineering Managers.
- Foster a high-performance, accountability-driven, and collaborative team culture.
- Drive organizational capability building across Agile practices, DevOps adoption, leadership development, and program governance.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience managing large-scale technology programs and strategic transformation initiatives.
- Strong experience in program governance, portfolio management, and enterprise project delivery.
- Experience working with senior leadership, executive stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies, enterprise architecture principles, DevOps, and modern software delivery practices.
- Strong risk management, dependency management, and issue resolution capabilities.
- Experience managing program budgets, vendor relationships, and resource planning.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making abilities.
- Experience leading geographically distributed teams and large delivery organizations.
