About The Client:
An American multinational computer software company incorporated in Delaware and headquartered in San Jose, California. They specialize in software for creating and publishing a wide range of content, including graphics, photography, illustration, animation, multimedia/video, motion pictures, and print.
Essential Job Functions:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for advanced-level troubleshooting and production support issues.
- Perform hands-on systems and application administration activities in highly available production environments.
- Automate regular administrative and operational tasks in collaboration with support and engineering teams.

Create and maintain documentation including:
- Data Standards
- Operational Procedures
- Runbooks
- Data Dictionary Definitions
- Provide on-call support and respond to high-priority incidents, including after-hours and weekend support as required.
- Support and maintain application production environments with a focus on automation, reliability, and security.
- Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade custom and packaged applications.
- Manage and maintain production monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
- Troubleshoot application performance, availability, scalability, and stability issues.
- Work closely with development, operations, and business teams to ensure smooth production operations.
- Support build, deployment, release management, and DevOps initiatives.
- Assist in implementing continuous improvement and automation across infrastructure and application environments.
- Provide technical assistance and support to staff, management, and external vendors.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of DevOps experience supporting complex, highly available production applications and environments.
- Strong understanding of Linux Operating System concepts and administration.
- Experience supporting production environments with a focus on security, automation, and reliability.

Hands-on experience with configuration management tools such as:
- Chef
- Experience automating build and release processes.
- Experience working directly with customers and stakeholders in support or consulting environments.

Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools such as:
- Datadog
- New Relic
- Splunk
- Sumo Logic
- Prometheus

Experience with CI/CD and release management tools such as:
- Jenkins
- Understanding of DevOps methodologies, automation frameworks, and modern operational practices.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and proactively solve operational challenges.
- Experience handling on-call support in a 24/7 rotating shift environment.
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Quick learner with the ability to rapidly adopt new technologies, tools, and concepts.
