Essential Job Functions:
- Design and develop robust, high-performance back-end systems using Java 11+ and the Spring Boot ecosystem.
- Lead technical design discussions, code reviews, and architecture sessions with a hands-on approach.
- Build and maintain microservices and event-driven systems to process and distribute large-scale financial data.
- Develop data integration and pipeline components connecting Snowflake, SQL Server, and real-time streaming platforms.
- Implement and optimize Redis-based caching and data stores for low-latency access patterns.
- Champion best practices for code quality, testing, automation, and performance tuning.
- Mentor engineers to improve technical craftsmanship, problem-solving, and system design.
- Collaborate with Product, Operations, and Engineering teams to deliver business-critical solutions.
- Build systems that ensure accurate, scalable, and efficient accounting across global operations.
- Support data analytics and pipeline initiatives using Snowflake, Redis, and Kafka for high-volume, real-time data processing.
- Work in an Agile, collaborative environment focused on innovation, technical excellence, and continuous improvement.
Must-Have Skills
- 8+ years of professional experience in Java and object-oriented programming.
- Strong expertise in Java 11+.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot.
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs and enterprise integration patterns.

Deep expertise in SQL Server, including:
- Stored Procedures
- Performance Tuning
- Data Modeling
- Experience with Redis for caching or data persistence.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka (or similar publish-subscribe/event-streaming platforms).

Familiarity with Snowflake and data pipeline concepts:
- ETL
- Batch Processing
- Streaming Pipelines
- Experience with Agentic Coding and a good understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs).

- Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.
Good to Have
- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
