IND-Network Engineer

About The Job:

• Experience: 5-7+ Years
• We are looking for an experienced Network Infrastructure Engineer with strong expertise in network architecture, security, cloud connectivity, automation, and enterprise network services.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, supporting, and automating critical network infrastructure platforms while ensuring high availability, scalability, and operational excellence.

Essential Job Functions:

• Architect, design, define standards, and deploy enterprise network infrastructure solutions.
• Manage and support networking services including:
  • DHCP
  • DNS
  • IPAM
  • Firewalls
  • Load Balancers
  • Proxy Services
  • Time Protocol Services
  • Cloud Networking Platforms
• Maintain Regional Internet Registry (RIR) objects and DNS Registrar databases.
• Assess, plan, design, and implement network infrastructure enhancements and projects.
• Perform capacity planning and troubleshooting for network applications, infrastructure, and services.
• Monitor and maintain observability of network products and infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain automation solutions using DevOps methodologies and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
• Manage source code repositories and infrastructure automation pipelines.
• Leverage test environments to perform proof-of-concepts, validations, and pre-deployment testing.
• Support cloud networking and connectivity initiatives across enterprise environments.
• Participate in on-call rotations and provide operational support for critical production environments.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions for recurring issues.
• Promote documentation standards, knowledge sharing, and collaborative engineering practices.

Qualifications:
Required Skills & Experience

• 5-7+ years of demonstrated experience in networking and infrastructure engineering.
• Strong experience in network architecture, design, implementation, and standards development.
• Strong understanding of:
  • TCP/IP
  • HTTPS
  • SSL/TLS
  • Internet Architecture
  • Network Protocols
  • Traffic Analysis
  • Packet Captures
• Hands-on experience with enterprise firewall technologies:
  • Check Point
  • Palo Alto
  • Fortinet
• Experience supporting:
  • Proxy Solutions
  • IDS/IPS Platforms
  • DDoS Protection Technologies
  • Packet Capture Appliances
• Experience with cloud networking and connectivity for at least one cloud platform:
  • Microsoft Azure
  • AWS
  • Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
• Experience with infrastructure automation using:
  • Python
  • Ansible
  • Terraform
  • GitLab CI/CD Pipelines
  • DevOps Practices
• Experience with monitoring, observability tools, protocols, and operational analytics.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities in fast-paced environments.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with DDI platforms such as Infoblox.
• Experience with F5 Load Balancers including iRules.
• Knowledge of Regional Internet Registries (RIRs) and DNS Registrar management.
• Experience with:
  • Cloudflare
  • Akamai
  • Infoblox BloxOne
• Experience in Financial Services or Banking environments.

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Equivalent technical certifications and relevant experience will also be considered.
