Job Description: Guidewire PolicyCenter - Cloud Configuration Developer

Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled Guidewire PolicyCenter Configuration Developer with Cloud experience to design, develop, and implement solutions on the Guidewire Cloud Platform. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in PolicyCenter configuration, integration, and cloud-based deployment practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and customize Guidewire PolicyCenter (Cloud version) based on business requirements
• Develop and maintain Guidewire components, including:
  • Product Model (LOB configuration, coverages, rules)
  • PCF (Page Configuration Framework) UI screens
  • Business Rules (Gosu-based rules engine)
• Work on Guidewire Cloud Platform features such as:
  • CI/CD pipelines
  • Environment management
  • Cloud upgrades and deployments
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Develop and support integrations using REST/SOAP APIs
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and code reviews
• Participate in Guidewire version upgrades and cloud transformations
• Ensure adherence to Guidewire best practices and coding standards

Required Skills & Experience

• 3-10 years of experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter configuration
• Strong hands-on experience with:
  • Gosu programming
  • PCF/UI configuration
  • Data Model extensions
  • Business Rules
• Experience working with Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP)
• Knowledge of Insurance domain (Policy lifecycle, underwriting)
• Experience with integration patterns (REST, SOAP, messaging)
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, etc.)
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Guidewire Cloud certification
• Exposure to PolicyCenter upgrades (on-prem to cloud migration is a plus)
• Knowledge of:
  • Guidewire Integration Gateway
  • API-based integrations
  • Performance tuning
