This is a critical operational role responsible for ensuring seamless functioning of the raceway's technology backbone during daily operations, testing, and championship events.

The ideal candidate will be technically strong, operationally agile, and capable of working in a fast-paced motorsport environment where system reliability and rapid troubleshooting are mission-critical.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

The selected individual will be responsible for the maintenance, monitoring, troubleshooting, and operational support of:

IT servers and network infrastructure

Network switches and fibre-based systems

Surveillance and Video Management Systems (VMS)

Race timing systems and operational electronics

Lighting control systems and LED panel infrastructure

Public Address (PA) systems

Data cabling and communication networks

Office IT systems and support infrastructure

The role will require active operational involvement during track testing, race weekends, national championships, and international events, ensuring uninterrupted functioning of all critical systems.

Required Experience & Skills:

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure or technical operations roles

Experience in large-format facilities such as airports, stadiums, industrial campuses, motorsport venues, or race tracks (will be a strong advantage)

Technical Expertise Strong working knowledge of:

IP-based systems and networking

Network diagnostics and troubleshooting

VMS platforms such as Genetec, Milestone, or Avigilon

Race timing systems (preferably My laps)

Lighting control systems (DMX, ETC, Philips or similar)

LED display/panel systems

PA systems (Bosch, Ahuja or equivalent)

Structured data cabling and fiber systems

Networking Skills

IP subnetting

VLAN configuration

Routing fundamentals

Managed switch configuration

Fiber splicing and/or SFP module experience

Certifications (Preferred):

Bachelor's degree in engineering (Computer Science Engineer / Electrical & Electronics Engineer)

Diploma or advanced diploma in Electronics, Networking or IT infrastructure (should have 7-10 years work experience in large organization to overshadow formal education)

Following certification is an added advantage

CCNA / CCNP

CCTV / VMS vendor certifications or training

Work Environment

This is an operational role requiring flexibility for weekends, race days, night operations, and event schedules. The candidate should be comfortable working in a dynamic, high-performance motorsport environment.
