Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
  • Oversee all site activities from pre-construction to commissioning.
  • Drive a culture of zero harm and continuous improvement in workmanship.
  • Identify and implement CSR programs that benefit local communities.
  • Collaborate with NGOs and local authorities for sustainable development.
  • Track impact and ensure alignment with corporate CSR goals.
Business Operational
  • Ensure alignment with project plans, approved drawings, method statements technical specifications, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with EPC contractors, consultants, and internal teams for smooth execution.
  • Monitor project milestones, cost performance, and resource utilization.
  • Implement corrective actions to address deviations from budget or schedule.
  • Timely reporting of project performance dashboards and financial reports to the management.
Organizational Development
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate site teams to achieve project goals.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and identify training needs.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure timely identification, requirement planning, and placement of project personnel as per site needs and the approved organogram.
  • Facilitate training programs to enhance awareness and accountability among site personnel.
Risk Management
  • Maintain a dynamic risk register and ensure regular updates based on project progress and stakeholder inputs.
  • Identify potential risks (technical, financial, environmental) and develop mitigation strategies.

  • Identify potential hazards and implement corrective and preventive actions based on safety and quality observations.
Stakeholder and Partnership Management
  • Enforce robust safety and quality management systems across all site operations.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory safety norms and internal quality standards.
  • Conduct regular safety audits, toolbox talks, and quality inspections.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with government authorities, local communities, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Facilitate timely approvals, resolve site-level issues, and ensure transparent communication.

Non-negotiable responsibilities for this Role:

  • Absolute adherence to safety, health, and environmental (SHE) standards, with zero tolerance for violations or unsafe practices at project sites.
  • Strict compliance with statutory, regulatory, and corporate governance requirements applicable to project execution.
  • Uncompromised commitment to quality standards, approved drawings, technical specifications, and method statements.
  • Timely, accurate, and transparent reporting of project progress, risks, incidents, and financial performance to management.
  • Proactive risk identification, escalation, and mitigation, including maintenance of an uptodate risk register at all times.
  • Ethical conduct in all dealings with contractors, vendors, government authorities, and communities, in line with organizational values.
  • Ensuring manpower deployment strictly as per the approved organogram and compliance with HR and labor policies.
  • Full ownership of site safety incidents, quality lapses, and compliance deviations, including implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Respectful and responsible community engagement and CSR implementation, safeguarding the organization's reputation and social license to operate.
