Driven to Deliver (What You'll Do)
- Own and drive our data products and analytics roadmap. Responsible for developing and implementing our data strategy, working cross-functionally with leaders across the business to identify and deliver analytics that drive business results.
- Drive the organization towards treating data as a product. Enable the rest of the organization by creating a foundational set of business dashboards, training users on BI tools, and ensuring data is well structured, clearly defined, and accessible.
- Lead, grow, and retain an expanded team of data engineers and analysts as part of the broader technology organization.
- Advocate new data sources, tools, and design paradigms.
- Work closely with marketing, product, and the executive team to rollout and launch data products.
- Present data strategy and key findings to executives and other departments.
- Enforce advanced data governance, security, lineage, and engineering practices.
- Collaborate with engineering groups on data and machine learning systems for automation and data enrichment capabilities.
- Keep pace with the latest developments in academia, regulatory environment, risk modeling methods, and the advertising/marketing industry in order to provide expert guidance to the business functions.
Equipped to Excel (Qualifications)
- On-site working at the ML physical office, 5-days per week required
- University Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
- 5-8 years of experience in Data Engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role
- Proven expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, and advanced analytics techniques
- Strong programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages, and experience with data science frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn)
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Snowflake) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage high-performing technical teams
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders
