Job Description
Must-Have
"Design, develop, and maintain Smallworld-based applications, ensuring high availability and performance.
"Perform bug fixing, application enhancements, and database modifications using Smallworld Magik and VMDS DB.
"Support and monitor integrations (SBI, GSS) with external systems such as SAP and ESRI.
"Proactively monitor batch jobs, troubleshoot failures, and resolve production issues within defined SLAs.
"Execute daily application health checks, job monitoring, and ongoing support activities.
"Participate in change management processes, including creation and execution of Change Requests, Change Tasks, and JIRA tickets, Incident resolution etc.
"Automate operational and maintenance tasks using Magik scripting and batch jobs.
"Perform code and database releases, following CI/CD deployment processes.
"Support system maintenance activities, including database compression, integration monitoring, and application upgrades.
"Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth application operations and timely issue resolution.
Good-to-Have1.Good to Lead and mentor Team.
2.Good to have knowledge on other GIS Products.
3.Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Python).
4.Experience in utilities, or energy sectors.
5.Knowledge on Epoch Sync Process
