About The Job:
- The Cloud Infrastructure Services Engineer is responsible for designing, building, migrating, operating, and optimizing cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments.
- The role supports secure, scalable, and highly available cloud platforms across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP, while contributing to cloud transformation, operational excellence, and cost optimization initiatives across client engagements.
Essential Job Functions:
- Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions across public, private, and hybrid cloud environments including AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Support cloud migration, modernization, and data center transformation initiatives including:
- Lift-and-Shift Migrations
- Re-platforming
- Legacy System Decommissioning

Operate and maintain cloud platforms covering:
- Compute Services
- Storage Services
- Backup Solutions
- Networking Services
- Disaster Recovery Solutions

Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation solutions using:
- Terraform
- Ansible
- CI/CD Pipelines
- Cloud-Native Automation Services
- Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, availability, and capacity to ensure SLA and SLO compliance.
- Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure issues to maintain operational excellence.
- Implement and enforce cloud security, compliance, and governance standards.
- Manage Identity and Access Management (IAM), network security controls, and policy enforcement mechanisms.
- Collaborate with Application, Security, DevOps, and Business teams to deliver end-to-end cloud solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on cloud reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.
- Support FinOps and cloud cost optimization initiatives through monitoring, reporting, governance, and automation.
- Contribute to infrastructure standardization, documentation, and operational best practices.
Qualifications:
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in Cloud Infrastructure Engineering, Administration, or Operations.

Hands-on experience with one or more major cloud platforms:
- Client Web Services (AWS)
- Microsoft Azure
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Experience designing and managing hybrid cloud environments.
- Strong understanding of cloud migration and modernization strategies.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Knowledge of cloud networking, routing, load balancing, and connectivity solutions.
- Experience with cloud monitoring, observability, logging, and alerting platforms.

Strong understanding of:
- Cloud Security
- Identity & Access Management (IAM)
- Governance & Compliance
- Disaster Recovery
- Backup & Recovery Solutions
- Experience supporting highly available and scalable production environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of automation, scripting, and operational best practices.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams including Security, DevOps, Application, and Infrastructure teams.
Preferred Skills
- Cloud certifications from AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized workloads.
- Knowledge of FinOps principles and cloud cost optimization.
- Exposure to enterprise cloud transformation and modernization programs.
- Experience with disaster recovery planning and business continuity solutions.
