Architect I - SAP SD, S/4Hana, Implementation - Commodity Management

About The Job:

• Experience: 10+ Years
• We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA SD Functional Consultant to lead end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Sales & Distribution implementations.
• The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes, SAP SD configuration, cross-functional integration, master data management, and data migration activities.

Essential Job Functions:

• Lead end-to-end SAP S/4HANA SD implementation projects including requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, cutover, go-live, and hypercare support.
• Configure and optimize SAP SD business processes covering:
  • Sales Order Processing
  • Pricing & Condition Technique
  • Delivery & Shipping
  • Billing
  • Returns Management
  • Credit Management
• Conduct business workshops and translate business requirements into scalable SAP S/4HANA solutions.
• Prepare functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams for enhancements, reports, interfaces, conversions, and forms.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams across:
  • Materials Management (MM)
  • Finance (FI)
  • Production Planning (PP)
  • Extended Warehouse Management (EWM)
  • Transportation Management (TM)
• Lead SD master data governance and migration activities.
• Support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect resolution, and production support activities.
• Manage stakeholder communication, business requirement discussions, project risks, and solution decisions.
• Support process improvements and SAP best-practice adoption within Order-to-Cash business processes.

Qualifications:
Must Have Skills

• 10+ years of SAP SD Functional Consulting experience.
• 2–3 years of functional business domain experience in:
  • Commodity Management
  • Sales
  • Order Management
  • Supply Chain Management
• Strong implementation experience in SAP ECC 6.0 and SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience delivering a minimum of 2–3 end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation projects.
• Strong expertise in Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes.
• Hands-on SAP SD configuration experience in:
  • Sales Order Processing
  • Pricing & Condition Technique
  • Delivery & Shipping
  • Billing
  • Returns Management
  • Credit Management
• Strong experience managing SD master data including:
  • Material Master
  • Customer Master
  • Pricing Master Data
  • Bill of Materials (BOM)
  • Customer Info Records
• Hands-on experience in SD data migration activities.
• Strong understanding of SAP SD-MM integration scenarios.
• Good understanding of subcontracting business processes.
• Experience preparing detailed Functional Specifications and coordinating with ABAP development teams.
• Experience integrating SAP SD with:
  • MM
  • FI
  • PP
  • EWM
  • TM
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and client-facing experience.

Good to Have Skills

• SAP S/4HANA SD Certification.
• Experience with SAP Fiori applications.
• Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology.
• Experience with Output Management using BRF+ and Adobe Forms.
• Exposure to:
  • IDocs
  • APIs
  • EDI
  • Third-party Integrations
• Experience in global rollout, transformation, or AMS support projects.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Embedded Analytics.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• SAP S/4HANA, SAP SD, or related SAP certifications preferred.
• Strong experience leading solution design workshops and business transformation initiatives.
