Role Summary: We are looking for a Senior Test Engineer with strong experience in manual and automation testing, along with hands-on exposure to Non-Functional Testing (NFR) including load/performance and security testing. The role focuses on ensuring application quality through effective test design, execution, and automation.
Job Description /Responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing including functional, integration, system, and regression testing.
- Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Playwright/Selenium.
- Prepare and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on requirements.
- Conduct NFR testing including load/performance testing and security testing.
- Identify, log, track, and validate defects using defect management tools.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business teams to ensure complete test coverage.
- Support automation and NFR best practices across the QA team.
Technical Skills(Mandatory):
- 36 years of experience in software testing / QA.
- Strong expertise in manual testing of web and/or enterprise applications.
- Hands-on experience with automation testing tools Playwright/Selenium Playwright is primary Java scripts or typescript (Selenium is optional)
- Practical experience in load/performance testing and security testing. Good to have
- Knowledge of SDLC/STLC and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with test and defect management tools (JIRA, TestRail, ALM, etc.).
- Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills(Optional):
- PMP / PRINCE2 / Agile Experience with performance tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Familiarity with security testing tools like OWASP ZAP or Burp Suite.
- Exposure to CI/CD integration for automated test execution.
- Domain experience in Banking, Insurance, or Finance.
Qualifications:
B-Tech in Computer Science or related field from a reputed institution.
