This is Ann from RGP Taiwan. We are currently supporting our client, Maintech , in looking for server hardware maintenance / field service engineers in Bangalore and Mumbai India.

Job Specialization: IT/Computer - Hardware

Primary Job Role: Computer Hardware Engineer

Qualification: Bachelor's Degree / Graduate / or Professional Certificate

Work Location: 2 engineers in Mumbai (permanent) and 2 engineers in Bangalore.(Contractor to possible perm-Bangalore)- Only covering 1 client’s DC, and between different DC

On shift rotation: The night shift covers 10am to 10pm with 10 hr shift x 2 (10am to 8pm & 12pm to 10pm) Only work 4 days per week, Will schedule for standby after ops hours per week on rotation

Annual Salary: around INR 700,000~INR1,000,000

Objective

\n
• Candidates must have 5+ years of hardware break/fix experience and hands-on experience in server maintenance.
\n
• Ensure candidates are capable of working on-site at client DCs, performing troubleshooting, break/fix, and minimal operational tasks .
\n

Key Responsibilities of Candidates:

\n
• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain HP/SUN/IBM servers.
\n
• Identify, analyze, and repair hardware failures (system boards, CPUs, memory, hard disks).
\n
• Maintain spare parts inventory and order replacements as needed.
\n
• Work on shift rotation : 10am–10pm (split 10am–8pm & 12pm–10pm), 4 days/week, standby rotation after ops hours.
\n

Candidate Requirements

\n
• 5+ years of IT / Computer Hardware / Data Center support experience
\n
• Hands-on experience with:
\n
• Hardware RAID (IBM ServeRAID, HP SmartArray, Dell PERC)
\n
• Remote Access Cards (IBM IMM, HP iLo, Dell iDRAC)
\n
• IBM BladeCenter, HP BL/DL/ML series, Dell PowerEdge series
\n
• CompTIA A+ or Server+ certification is a plus
\n
• Ability to troubleshoot and replace critical server hardware
\n

• Strong problem-solving skills and hands-on hardware experience
