Supplier Development Expert

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead strategic sourcing and procurement of packaging materials and spares.
• Identify, evaluate, develop, and finalize suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and overall capability.
• Conduct commercial negotiations for pricing, contracts, payment terms, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Build and maintain long-term supplier relationships to ensure uninterrupted supply and continuous improvement.
• Monitor supplier performance against agreed SLAs, KPIs, quality, cost, and delivery metrics.
• Drive cost optimization and value engineering initiatives while maintaining quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Finance.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Resolve supplier-related issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for supplier consolidation and cost savings.

Required Qualifications:

• 12+ years of experience in Supplier Development, Strategic Sourcing, or Procurement.
• Strong expertise in sourcing, negotiation, and purchasing of packaging materials and industrial spares.
• Proven experience in supplier evaluation, vendor development, and contract management.
• Excellent commercial negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing or FMCG environment is preferred.
