Job Description:

Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases.
Perform database backup, restore, and disaster recovery operations.
Monitor database performance and optimize queries, indexes, and execution plans.
Manage database security, user access, roles, and permissions.
Configure and support High Availability (Always On, Replication, Log Shipping).
Troubleshoot database performance issues and resolve production incidents.
Perform database patching, upgrades, and maintenance activities.
Monitor database health, storage, and capacity planning.
Automate routine database administration tasks using SQL Server Agent or PowerShell.
Collaborate with developers to optimize database design and SQL code.
Maintain database documentation and ensure compliance with organizational standards.

4–6 years of experience as a SQL Database Administrator.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server administration.
Expertise in SQL, T-SQL, Stored Procedures, Functions, and Triggers.
Experience with performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization.
Hands-on experience with backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
Knowledge of High Availability technologies such as Always On, Replication, and Log Shipping.
Experience with SQL Server Monitoring and Troubleshooting.
Good understanding of database security and access management.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
