Design, implement, and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure Apache Kafka platforms.
Define Kafka architecture, including clusters, topics, partitions, replication, and disaster recovery.
Integrate Kafka with applications, databases, and streaming platforms using producers, consumers, and Kafka Connect.
Optimize Kafka performance, capacity, and throughput while ensuring reliability.
Implement security using SSL/TLS, SASL, ACLs, and encryption.
Monitor Kafka clusters, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure high availability.
Automate Kafka deployment and operations using DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, and Terraform.
Establish governance, best practices, and operational standards for Kafka usage.
Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and application teams to deliver event-driven solutions.
Provide technical leadership, documentation, and mentoring for Kafka implementations.
Required Skills:
Kafka Architect
Strong expertise in Apache Kafka, Kafka Connect, Kafka Streams, Schema Registry, and ZooKeeper/Food and Beverage.
Experience with Linux, Java, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), Kubernetes/OpenShift, and CI/CD.
Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana), security, networking, and high-availability architecture.
Experience in event-driven architecture and enterprise messaging solutions.
