Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer with strong expertise in .NET Core (v10), REST API development, and Azure cloud services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and building scalable backend systems, ensuring high performance, security, and seamless integration with frontend and external systems. Experience in Life Insurance platforms will be an added advantage. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain backend services using .NET Core 10
- Build and optimize RESTful APIs for scalability and performance
- Implement Entity Framework Core for database access and data management
- Apply CQRS and Repository patterns for clean architecture and maintainability
- Develop and execute unit tests using NUnit
- Work with Azure services including Azure Functions, App Services, and Azure AD
- Manage and optimize databases in Azure SQL and data storage in Azure Blob Storage
- Collaborate with frontend, QA, and DevOps teams for smooth integration
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and Agile ceremonies
- Ensure application security, performance, and reliability standards
Required Skills & Qualifications: - Strong experience in .NET Core (latest versions preferred, including .NET 10 exposure)
- Hands-on experience in REST API development
- Solid understanding of Entity Framework Core, LINQ, and SQL
- Experience with CQRS and Repository design patterns
- Experience in unit testing using Nunit
- Experience in xUnit and Moq for unit testing.
- Good knowledge on scripting language (preferred – React JS)
- Hands-on experience with Azure services (Azure AD, Functions, App Services, Azure SQL, Blob Storage)
- Strong understanding of OOP, design principles, and backend architecture
- Familiarity with version control tools (Git, Azure DevOps)
- Good debugging and analytical skills
- Understanding of microservices architecture
- Experience in Life Insurance domain
Good to Have: - Exposure to insurance platforms such as CoreSuite (Sapiens), LifeNet, HomeOffice
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub)
