Detailed JD (Roles and Responsibilities)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technology Lead with deep expertise in AWS cloud services and Node.js to lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for technical leadership, solution architecture, and mentoring development teams while ensuring best practices in cloud application development.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership:

Lead end-to-end application development on AWS using Node.js.

Define and enforce coding standards, architecture principles, and development best practices.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, QA, and Product Management.

Solution Architecture:

Design scalable, secure, and resilient cloud-native applications.

Select appropriate AWS services (e.g., Lambda, API Gateway, S3, ECS, etc.) for solution implementation.

Optimize performance, cost, and reliability of cloud solutions.

Development & Delivery:

Oversee development lifecycle including planning, coding, testing, and deployment.

Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate infrastructure using tools like CloudFormation or Terraform.

Ensure high code quality through code reviews and unit testing.

Mentorship & Collaboration:

Mentor junior developers and foster a culture of continuous learning.

Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

8+ years of experience in software development, with 3+ years in a technical leadership role.

Strong proficiency in Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, and RESTful API development.

Hands-on experience with AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, ECS, S3, CloudWatch, IAM, etc.

Experience with microservices architecture, serverless computing, and containerization (Docker, ECS/EKS).

Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices (CI/CD, Git, Jenkins, etc.).

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Mandatory skills

1. Hands-on experience with AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, ECS, S3, CloudWatch, IAM, etc.
2. Experience with microservices architecture, serverless computing, and containerization (Docker, ECS/EKS).
3. Hands on experience in Node.js & Nest.js

Desired skills

1. Experience with frontend frameworks (React, Angular) is a plus.
2. Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
