Mandatory skills

• Develop and maintain cloud-native microservices using Java (Spring Boot), optimized for deployment on Red Hat OpenShift.
• Execute migration projects from older Java versions to Java 21 and upgrade Spring Boot applications to the latest stable versions, ensuring backward compatibility and performance optimization.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab CI, integrating automated build, test, and deployment processes.
• Containerize applications using Docker and manage deployments on OpenShift using Kubernetes manifests.
• Collaborate with DevOps and platform teams to implement GitOps workflows, streamline deployment strategies, and ensure consistent environment configurations.
• Develop and expose RESTful APIs, ensuring scalability, security, and adherence to best practices in API design and documentation.
• Integrate security and compliance checks into CI/CD pipelines, including static code analysis (SAST), dynamic testing (DAST), and dependency vulnerability scanning.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing to maintain high code quality and reliability.
• Work closely with architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Stay current with emerging trends in cloud-native development, OpenShift platform capabilities, and Java ecosystem advancements.
