Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Azure Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in data engineering, ETL pipelines, and cloud-native services, and will work closely with data analysts, architects, and business stakeholders to support advanced analytics and reporting needs. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Synapse Analytics.Develop and optimize ETLELT processes for structured and unstructured data sources.Build and manage data lakes, data warehouses, and real-time streaming solutions.Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all stages of the data lifecycle.Collaborate with data scientists and BI teams to enable advanced analytics and machine learning workflows.Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows and performance issues.Document technical designs, data flows, and operational procedures.Required SkillsStrong hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure Databricks, and Azure SQL.Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Spark for data transformation and processing.Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and big data architectures.Familiarity with Azure DevOps, CICD pipelines, and version control.Good understanding of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience in Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance (BFSI) domain.Knowledge of Power BI, Microsoft Purview, or DataBricks Delta Lake.Microsoft Certified Azure Data Engineer Associate or equivalent.Exposure to real-time data processing using Event Hubs, Kafka, or Stream Analytics.
