Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates information technology systems operations. Determines user needs and requirements and recommends ways to improve systems. Serves as primary point of contact between users and engineering/development staff. Identifies, documents, reports and tracks system issues. Supports the process of translating business needs into formal technical requirement deliverables.

1) Business Analysis job description (Must-have):
i) Liaison between technical groups and the business
ii) Requirements definition and elicitation
iii) Ensure requirements are clear, concise and testable
iv) A willingness to provide constructive feedback on projects
v) Ability to independently research topics using available tools like SharePoint and other document repositories
vi) Ability to recognize and determine whether the changes impact other systems
vii) Ability to recognize up/downstream dependencies
viii) Organizational skills; coordination of meeting agendas, minutes and action items
ix) Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel)
x) Experience creating Process flow diagrams using MS Visio
xi) Create and Maintain user stories using JIRA
2) Business Analysis Tools (Nice to have):
i) Octane/ALM - Nice to Have
ii) Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) - Used to construct process flows to clearly show impacts of the project (as-is and to-be flows)
