Storage Team (Dell EMC)
- Provision and configure Dell EMC storage (PowerStore / Unity / Data Domain)
- Create storage pools, LUNs, NAS shares for backup repositories
- Configure snapshots & replication (local / DR site)
- Enable Data Domain (DD Boost) integration (if applicable)
- Monitor storage capacity, performance & utilization
- Ensure high availability & storage health
2. Backup Team (Veeam - Core Owner)
- Design backup architecture & policies
- Install & configure:
- Veeam Backup Server
- Backup Proxies
- Backup Repositories
- Integrate Veeam with Dell EMC storage & hypervisors
- Configure:
- Backup jobs (VM, physical, applications)
- Retention policies & backup copy jobs
- Implement:
- Immutable backups (hardened repository / object lock)
- Encryption & security controls
- Monitor jobs, resolve failures & ensure SLA compliance
- Perform backup & restore validation
- Provide reporting, dashboards & SOPs
