The Technology Risk Management department safeguards Goldman Sachs' applications, infrastructure, and technology platforms from cyber threats. The team manages cybersecurity risk, strengthens the firm's security posture, and enables secure business innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise on emerging cyber threats, strategic risks, and intelligence-driven security decisions, translating technical intelligence into actionable business risk insights.

  • Lead threat intelligence function, overseeing intelligence collection, analysis, and assessment of cybercriminal, nation-state, geopolitical, financial crime, and emerging technology threats.

  • Embed intelligence across threat hunting, detection engineering, incident response, vulnerability management, and cyber defense programs to improve resilience, detection, and remediation outcomes.

  • Represent Goldman Sachs in intelligence-sharing communities, regulatory engagements, industry forums, and strategic partnerships with government, law enforcement, and peer institutions.

  • Lead, develop, and inspire a team of threat intelligence professionals while fostering a culture of technical excellence, innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Basic Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience in cyber threat intelligence, cybersecurity operations, intelligence analysis, or related disciplines, including significant leadership experience.

  • Deep expertise in threat actors, intelligence tradecraft, MITRE ATT&CK, cyber kill chain methodologies, and the cyber threat landscape impacting global financial institutions.

  • Strong understanding of security architecture, cloud security, application security, cyber defense operations, and threat detection technologies.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior executives and lead enterprise-wide cybersecurity initiatives.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
