Manager Feature Engineering

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

• Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance for enterprise applications built using .NET technologies.
• Drive solution design, development standards, coding best practices, and engineering governance.
• Review application architecture, design documents, and code to ensure scalability, performance, maintainability, and security.
• Lead technology decisions, technical roadmaps, and modernization initiatives.
• Collaborate with architects and business stakeholders to align technology solutions with business objectives.

Full Stack Application Development

• Lead the design and development of full-stack applications using:
  • C#
  • .NET Core / .NET
  • ASP.NET MVC/Web API
  • Angular, React, or similar front-end frameworks
  • SQL Server and cloud-based database solutions
• Define application integration patterns and API standards.
• Ensure adherence to secure coding practices and performance optimization standards.
• Guide teams in implementing modern development methodologies and reusable frameworks.

Project Delivery & Execution

• Manage end-to-end project delivery, including planning, estimation, resource allocation, and execution.
• Monitor project schedules, milestones, risks, dependencies, and budgets.
• Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Drive Agile delivery practices and ensure predictable, high-quality releases.
• Establish governance processes for delivery tracking and issue resolution.

People Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and develop software engineers, technical leads, and development teams.
• Conduct performance reviews, career development planning, and succession planning.
• Identify skill gaps and drive training and development initiatives.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and retention of top engineering talent.

DevOps & Operational Excellence

• Drive adoption of CI/CD, automation, DevOps, and cloud-native best practices.
• Ensure application reliability, availability, security, and operational stability.
• Support production releases, incident management, and root cause analysis.
• Establish metrics and KPIs for engineering productivity, quality, and operational performance.
• Promote continuous improvement initiatives across development and support teams.
