Role Description The Senior Sales Engineer will be responsible for managing end-to-end technical sales activities for power transmission products, including gearboxes, motors, couplings, and related equipment. This full-time, on-site role based in Aurangabad includes identifying and developing new business opportunities, nurturing existing customer relationships, and providing technical consultation to support product selection and application. The role involves preparing and presenting technical proposals, conducting product demonstrations, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure accurate quotations and timely order execution. The Senior Sales Engineer will regularly visit customer sites, understand application requirements, resolve technical queries, and coordinate with suppliers and logistics for smooth deliveries. The position also includes tracking market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to support strategic sales planning and continuous improvement.\n
Qualifications

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Sales Engineering, with the ability to understand mechanical power transmission systems and recommend appropriate technical solutions.

  • Strong Sales and Customer Service skills, including lead generation, negotiation, relationship management, and post-sales support.
  • \n
  • Experience in Technical Support, including troubleshooting product issues and guiding customers on installation, operation, and maintenance.
  • \n
  • Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly to diverse stakeholders.
  • \n
  • Preferred educational background in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline (diploma or degree).
  • \n
  • Proven experience in industrial or B2B sales, ideally in gearboxes, motors, or power transmission products.
  • \n
  • Ability to work independently, manage a sales territory, and travel regularly to customer sites within the region.
  • \n
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with familiarity in reading technical drawings and specifications.

  • Comfort with using CRM tools, MS Office, and basic reporting for sales forecasting and pipeline management.
