Cloud Security -GCP - Deloitte

Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain secure GCP environments and cloud workloads.
Configure and manage GCP IAM policies, roles, service accounts, and least-privilege access controls.
Implement network security controls including VPC security, firewall rules, private access, and secure connectivity patterns.
Enable and manage security monitoring, logging, and alerting using GCP-native tools such as Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring, and Security Command Center.
Support compliance and governance requirements by implementing security baselines, guardrails, and policy controls across GCP environments.
Use Terraform to build, deploy, and manage secure, scalable, and repeatable cloud infrastructure.
Partner with DevOps, engineering, and security teams to embed security into cloud design, deployment, and operations.
Identify security gaps, recommend remediation actions, and support incident response and risk reduction efforts.
Ensure adherence to cloud security best practices, organizational standards, and regulatory requirements.
